DailyArt is an app that shows you a different work of art every day and also tells you everything about its history and origins. Basically, every day the app shows a different work of art (normally paintings but it could also be sculptures and other objects) alongside a brief text. You can find out why Van Gogh cut his ear off or what Pollock’s method was, for example. All of the information included is really interesting.
The presentation of DailyArt is flawless. When you enter the app you’ll see that day’s work of art. By sliding to the left you can check out the previous days’. You can find hundreds of different works of art which always include the name, author, date, dimensions, museum where they’re located and of course their corresponding text.
DailyArt is an excellent education and culture app. You can learn a little bit of art history and discover new works of art and artists that you like. Another excellent feature is that with just one click you can share any of the works of art.
